global money week
Helping children feel confident with money
Global Money Week is an international campaign that encourages young people to learn about money, saving, earning, spending and planning for the future.
It’s a brilliant opportunity to give students practical skills they will use for life, and we make it simple to take part.
what’s inside the pack
Complete the form and receive a ready-to-use classroom resource pack. In this resource pack, you will find simple (and fun) activities to help teachers, parents and children talk about money. Explore the LifeSavers values to help children become wise, generous, thankful, and just with money.
You can use the activities in a way that suits you best, for example:
Invite parents, carers and guardians into school to complete the activities with the children.
You could complete one activity per day during #GlobalMoneyWeek.
Consider having a #GlobalMoneyWeek session where the children take part in each of the activities throughout the day.
Why Global Money Week matters
Money choices start young. From spending pocket money to participating in fundraisers, young people are already forming habits and beliefs about money. The earlier they build confidence and understanding, the stronger their financial future can be.
Global Money Week gives schools a focused moment to explore topics like:
Where does money come from?
What can we do with our money?
How does money make us feel?
How can we look after our money?
How can our money help other people?
about JFF
At JFF, we’re on a mission to change how children grow up with money.
Money touches all of our lives. But not every child gets the same chance to learn about it. By helping children build the knowledge, skills and confidence to understand money from an early age, we can make the “rules of the game” clearer for everyone.
Our free resources help teachers bring money learning into everyday classroom conversations in ways that feel accessible, supportive and practical.
plan your global money week activities
We recommend scheduling resources at least 2–3 weeks in advance to give staff time to prepare.
If you’d like help planning your approach, our team is here to support you.
